Beyond the Individual Journey
One-on-one therapy offers a deep dive into your personal story, but there's a specific kind of magic that can only happen in the presence of others. Beyond support, our groups are curated, trauma-informed containers designed to help you practice new ways of being in real-time.
Whether you're looking to quiet the noise of perfectionism, process shared trauma, or simply find a space where you don't have to explain yourself, our groups offer a grounded path back to connection.
Why Community Healing?
Shared Resonance
There is a specific kind of relief that only happens when you hear someone else voice the exact thought you thought was uniquely yours.
Relational Laboratory
Unlike individual therapy, group lets you practice boundaries and authenticity without the pressure to perform in real-time with real people.
A Different Path
Groups offer high-level support at a more accessible investment, making consistent healing sustainable.

Why Wildwood Groups Are Different
Intimate Scale
Pillar 1
We keep cohorts small, usually 6-8 people, so the space never feels crowded or overwhelming.
Intentional Containers
Pillar 2
We offer both closed cohorts (for deep, consistent trust), drop-in support, and focused workshops (for specific skill-building). We’ll always be clear about the format before you join.
Agency + Consent
Pillar 3
Your no is as respected as your yes. You're always in charge of how much you share. No forced vulnerability, ever.
How it Works

Common Concerns
Do I have to share everything?
Nope. You're always in charge of your own level of vulnerability. Sometimes, just being present and listening can be the thing you need.
What if I'm too much/not enough?
This is one of the most common group fears. Our groups are curated to be small and trauma-informed, ensuring everyone has space without anyone feeling overwhelmed. We also hold screening calls to make sure group is an appropriate setting for folks.
Is this just a vent session?
While sharing is part of groups, Wildwood groups are structured. We balance emotional processing with practical, concrete tools you can use immediately.
What if I see someone I know?
If it's a small world, Loudoun County can feel even smaller sometimes. In our screening call, we check for potential dual relationships to ensure the group remains private. We also establish a firm "Vegas Rule" from minute one: what is said and who is seen in group, stays in group.
Is this covered by insurance?
We are not in-network with any insurance provider. However, we provide superbills if you want to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement. We recommend checking with your provider specifically about Group Therapy (CPT Code 90853) coverage.
How do I know if I'm a good fit?
Every participant has a 15-minute screening call with Kaylie, the group facilitator, first. This ensures the group dynamic is balanced and that the program matches your specific goals.
